The Bein Gallery uses regular and conservation materials to mat and frame paintings. You may inquire to see if your selection is matted and framed and if it is done in regualr mat board or in conservation materials. The Crescent Conservation Mat Board is 100% Virgin Alpha-Cellulose, Acid Free and Lignin –Free, Buffered-pH Neutral, and Fade and Bleed Resistant. Regular or Acid free foam core is used. The paintings are framed with Plexiglass, either regular or conservation,Acrylite OP-3 acrylic sheeting. Both are lightweight and impact resistant. The OP-3 sheeting is conservation UV Protection-protects from natural and artificial UV light. Commissioned Projects The Bein gallery does accept commissioned projects. We have been doing animal portraits and also custom hand painted ornaments of your pet. In either project, you provide several photos of your animal for the artist to paint or complete in the medium of your choice, acrylic, pencil, chalk pastel, or watercolor.
